I used to run kdesktop in my Gnome session so I could easily set the same 4x3 image on each monitor. Now I just have a black desktop, but I kind of wish there was a nice way to pull a random photo from my Flickr stream and make it my wallpaper each day.
I took the source for the .deb and built it for Ubuntu 7.10. It built successfully, but doesn't seem to work on my xinerama setup (running the Nvidia propietary driver).
The wallpaper never changes, and I get black blank areas on the screen where some dialogs are. Ideas?
this seems to be a bug in one of the libraries used by nitrogen. we didnt yet figure out whats exactly causing it :/
does it work for you again if you delete ~/.config/nitrogen/bg-saved.cfg?
Sweet! I love nitrogen when I'm using Openbox. I was hoping somebody would package it up as I've been too lazy to do so Thanks.
