netscape 9

I just noticed (a bit late) that the famous cross-platform browser Netscape 9 was released by AOLOL^h ^h.

There is also a list of new features. What I really wonder about is, what is the purpose of this browser and this release? I just tried it and (ok I am an opera user) it really feels and looks like firefox, the code is based on firefox code and apart from a better QA work I don't see any real advantage here.
Anyone knows more?

Hi there!

Once I saw the angel picture here in your blog, and today I was looking for it again.

I found it on the March 25, 2006 post (http://nion.modprobe.de/blog/index.php?serendipity%5Baction%5D=search&serendipity%5BsearchTerm%5D=angel), but it is not in full resolution.

So... I was wondering if you could send the full resolution picture by email for me (if you still have it...)

just sent, the reason for not putting it on full size online is that people tend to use it as background on myspace and i get their traffic. some time i blocked this via url rewriting but this is much more to do because other sides use it to than just removing it
