Fetchmail alpha

Fetchmail is going to make new releases.
The 6.3.0 release hopefully will be released in August.

During the last release alot of things changed in fetchmail, alot of bugs were fixed.

At the moment there is an unofficial release available:
http://home.pages.de/~mandree/fetchmail/fetchmail-6.2.6-pre3.tar.bz2

Please check it out and report bugs to fetchmail-devel@lists.berlios.de
Patches are also very welcome!

As you maybe know ESR isn't no longer maintaining fetchmail and the current developers are fairly busy. So please be patient if you write to the mailing list. But be shure that you get a reply.

I will not prepare a debian package of this alpha because it has to be more tested.
So please support us and "fetch" the tarball.
