Today I noticed that the new version of gnupg does not decrypt messages correctly anymore.
With Mutt(-ng) I am not able to decrypt messages. Ok I thought it is a misconfiguration of mutt,
but if I try to decrypt local files gpg decrypts it but at the end of decryption it hangs and
gives me this message:
gpg: checking the trustdb
gpg: waiting for lock (held by 5163 - probably dead) ...
gpg: waiting for lock (held by 5163 - probably dead) ...
But there is no process with this ID.

Hints are welcome. I reported this issue to the debian bts.
